With his imposing size and that menacing gash on his forehead, it’s no wonder our paps were a little leery to approach Batista at an LA gym and outdoor cafe this week. Dave enjoyed a workout and lunch with a mystery female wrestler and his longtime buddy/personal trainer and martial arts expert, Marrese Crump, the day after his match on March 15, 2010 against Kofi Kingston. During that match, Batista took a knee to the face, resulting in a deep and bloody gash. But he looks happy and on the mend less than 24 hours later and even summons over our reluctant photographer to jokingly "grab" him before showing off those awesome tatoos on his left arm. On the eve of 12/15/08, the night after Jeff Hardy first ever WWE Championship win, we caught up with the Champ! I mean come on viewers, where else are you going to see EXCLUSIVE video content of a BRAND new Champ, the NIGHT AFTER the win? Answer = REELWRESTLING.com

Jeff takes a picture with a fan and is congratulated by our photog. He remembers us from our San Diego, CA day of shooting, which we appreciate. Jeff seems to be extremely excited about winning the championship in Buffalo New York the night before at Armageddon!

We asked Jeff what Edge aka Adam Copeland thought about passing the torch, Jeff Hardy tells us that they are now on the same page after their drama went down in their personal lives. When asked about Triple H, he states they don’t talk much.

Jeff tells us that he’s been wrestling for 16 years and he doesn’t know how much longer he has left in him. But it seems he’s going to enjoy the ride for the time being. Thanks again Jeff!

Back in August of 2008 REEL WRESTLING cameras caught up with then couple Kelly Kelly and Dave Batista out on a date.

However, before posting this video we tried to contact Mr. Batista’s manager. He called us back a few days later with the following quote from Dave. "Barbie and I went out on a few dates, nothing real serious. The only woman I’ve had a relationship with and loved besides my ex-wife in the last 10 years is Melina, who I still love even though we are not together."

It’s a good thing that Matt Hardy wasn’t touching down in the City of Brotherly Love after his brother, Jeff Hardy, accidentally broke his hand in a match the prior week.  While he certainly has a good excuse for not being able to sign autographs for fans, we wonder what he would do if that hand required holding a pen to sign a multi-million dollar contract?!

Matt seemed a little lukewarm in his responses about his brother whom he referred to as "the bastard" - do we sense a little animosity between the two?  Perhaps a broken heel might have been more appropriate since playing the heel doesn’t seem to suit Matt but you gotta do "whatever pays the bills."  Is a title in his future soon?  On one hand, Matt gave us no inkling, but on the other hand, it’s nice to know he "feels good."

He agrees that our personal Reel Wrestling goal of "innovation" is a great one. Matt tells us that he’s very happy for his brother, Jeff Hardy’s title win the night before at Armageddon. (We at Reel Wrestling also agree Jeff Hardy winning the WWE championship title was long overdue.) Matt tells us that Jeff and himself are the first blood brothers to ever win and hold 2 Heavyweight titles. Matt Hardy leaves us by telling us he’s proud of his brother, and meets and greets our photographer. Thanks Matt!

New details have emerged that Umaga’s death could be more then a heart attack. We reported that he was pronounced dead in Houston, but prior to that his wife found him not breathing with blood coming down from his nose. Speculators are saying that drugs could be a factor, RW won’t know for sure until after the autopsy is complete. A lot of Wrestling insiders are not shocked that Umaga is dead. We hear he was a big time partier who loved to have a great time. We caught up at the gym with Val Venis, who is still working out and staying in shape since his departure from the WWE over four months ago.  If he ever makes a comeback, maybe he can teach the new generation of Wrestlers a few things, namely how to pump Excitement, Energy and Electricity into the air!  We couldn’t agree with you more, Val - Susan Boyle rocked the house in London and we miss the good ole days when your breed of Wrestlers knew how to truly rock the house!  And you’ve proven you can still pump some excitement into the air with your "Hello, Ladies" signature trademark.

Justin Credible took time out from his workout to give us his thoughts on some current events.  Not too many people will disagree with his assessment that the first U.S. face transplant recipient is a "sicko" and "insane" for planning to take her husband back after he is released from jail for blowing her face away.  He also shared that he thinks the hype over the swine flu is total "BS" and Brett Hart is the "greatest of all time" in the world of wrestling.  Justin’s cooperation was appreciated and it’s nice to see that some wrestlers actually have an opinion and half a brain!
