Wrestling Biography

Candice Michelle Beckman-Ehrlich, better known as the WWE superstar Candice, was born in September of 1978.  In addition to her wrestling career, she is also a model and actress.  One of her best-known roles was appearing in the GoDaddy.com line of commercials.

She began her WWE career by participating in the 2004 WWE Diva Search.  Even though she did not place in the final 10, she was still hired by the company.  In her first “role” as a makeup artist for RAW, she performed in fashion shows and limbo contests until June of 2005.  She then moved to Smackdown for several weeks before moving back to RAW.

Candice then joined Torrie as a heel pair who feuded with Ashley Massaro.  Later, Trish Stratus joined with Ashley to compete against them.   In 2006, Candice participated but was eliminated in the first Bra and Panties Gauntlet Match.  She also failed to win the Women’s title from Trish Stratus, a loss she blamed on Torrie, which caused their partnership to end.

After suffering a broken nose, Candice reappeared in January of 2007.  She began training to improve her in-ring skills, and she soon started appearing more often.  She then defeated Melina to win her first title at Vengeance, making her the first Diva Search contestant to hold the Women’s Championship.  However, she lost the title to Beth Phoenix in October of 2007.

Since 2008, Candice has continued her RAW appearances, although she suffered a severe clavicle injury, forcing her to drop out of her WrestleMania XXIV match.  After surgery, she returned to RAW in September 2008, but failed to take the title and belt from Phoenix.  Following another injury, she returned to become the number one contender for the Women's Championship but once again lost to Beth Phoenix. She was drafted to Smackdown but was released in June 2009.
