The Great Khali

Wrestling Biography
Rana first began wrestling as Giant Singh for All Pro Wrestling in 2000. However, in August of 2001, he moved to the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion. There, he and Giant Silva formed the tallest tag team in history - the two were both over seven feet tall! The two picked up many wins, and in 2006, Rana caught the attention of the WWE. They offered him a contract, and Rana became the first Indian wrestler to be signed by the company.
Rana began wrestling for Deep South Wrestling, and on April 7, he made his Smackdown debut with an attack on the Undertaker. The following week, he was officially introduced as The Great Khali. Alongside Daivari, he began a feud with Undertaker. The two would battle it out for months until he was moved to ECW in August.
In January of 2007, however, Khali again changed brands, this time going from ECW to Raw. There, he battled with John Cena, who would end up pinning the Great Khali for the first time ever.
June 2007 saw Khali being once again drafted to Smackdown. He was scheduled to face Batista The Great American Bash but when Edge was put down with an injury, a 20 man battle royal wa scheduled. Khali outlasted the other 19 wrestlers to win the World title. After a three month reign, Khali lost the title to Batista and started feuding with Finlay and then Triple H for his WWE Championship. He lost his championship match against Triple H. He wrestled as a heel until 2008. He began his Kiss Cam gimmick in which he would kiss random women in the audience. He also saved Kofi and Rey Mysterio from an attack by Mark Henry and Kane.
