Curt Hawkins

Wrestling Biography
Curt Hawkins is a professional wrestler on Smackdown. Born in 1985, his real name is Brian Myers. He generally wrestles as part of a tag team with Zack Ryder (the two were previously known as the Major Brothers: Hawkins went by the name Brian Major while Ryder used the name Brett Major).
Trained by Mickey Whipwreck, Hawkins was offered a developmental contract in 2006 with the WWE as part of the Major Brothers. While in development, Hawkins and Ryder won the Deep South Tag Team title twice and won a number of triple threat matches. Their success led them to make several Raw and Smackdown dark match appearances in 2007.
In June of 2007, the Major Brothers won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Southern Tag Team title, and also made their WWE television debut. The pair appeared on ECW on SciFi, but won only one match when they defeated Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker. Nevertheless, their showing was good enough to be drafted to Smackdown, where they immediately defeated Mike Foxx and Jeremy Young. While they did well, they were not able to take the Tag Team title from Matt Hardy and MVP.
At Armageddon, the two assisted Edge to help him win the World Heavyweight title. They dropped the Major Brothers name and became known as Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. As part of the La Familia stable, Hawkins often teamed with Edge and Chavo Guerrero. For a while, Hawkins dropped his trademark shorts to dress more like Edge in long tights, but recently switched back to shorts.
In July 2008, Hawkins and Ryder claimed the WWE Tag Team title in the Great American Bash, becoming the youngest pair to ever win the title. They also left the La Familia stable when Edge was removed by the Undertaker.
