Wrestling Biography
Cena began his wrestling career with Ohio Valley Wrestling. However, in June of 2002, he made his Smackdown television debut by challenging Kurt Angle. By October of that year, he began his rapping gimmick, and the current John Cena hip-hop character was created. He often rapped before matches to get the crowd riled up.

During 2007, Cena feuded with everyone from The Great Khali, Shawn Michaels, and Randy Orton. However, during late 2007, Cena suffered several injuries, including an arm and neck injury. He was out for several months, but when he returned in 2008, he re-claimed the World Heavyweight title from Chris Jericho at Survivior Series in his first match back. He lost the title to Edge in an Elimination Chamber match but won the title back the next month at Wrestlemania 25 in a Triple Threat match. Cena went to lose and win the belt a few more times to Edge and Randy Orton and is currently WWE Champion.
Cena went on to face Sheamus in a Tables match at the TLC pay-per-view when Cena lost the WWE Championship.
