Wrestling Biography

WWE superstar Jillian Fletcher, generally known only as Jillian, was born on September 6, 1980.  She began her professional wrestling career in 1998 as Macaela Mercedes, and after some work on the independent circuit, she joined Ohio Valley Wrestling as Jillian Hall in 2003.  One year later, she would sign a developmental agreement with the WWE.

She began as a face on OVW, but after getting breast implants, she turned heel.  It was as a hell that she made her Smackdown debut.  She first appeared as part of the MNM stable, but she didn’t stay with the group for long.  She partnered with John Bradshaw Layfield and participated in his feud with the Boogeyman.  She also feuded with Kristal.  She later left Layfield, turned face, and feuded with Melina, a member of MNM.

Jillian became a heel again in February of 2007, attempting to not only wrestle but also model and sing.  She feuded with Ashley and Michelle McCool.  In June of 2007, she was drafted to Raw.  She mainly appeared on Heat following the draft, but in November, she performed a “banned” move and vanished from the WWE for a few months.  Upon her return, she began singing during house shows and participating in both solo and tag team matches.

Jillian wrestled for a shot at the Women’s title at the 2008 Royal Rumble, but she was unable to qualify.  In fact, Jillian failed to win a match for over a year until, finally, she and Beth Phoenix teamed up to win a match in January of 2009. She went to win her title in the WWE beating Mickie James for the Divas Championship in October 2009 but lost it immediatley to a returning Melina a few seconds after winning the title.
