Chavo Guerrero

Wrestling Biography
Salvador Chavito Guerrero III, aka WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero, was born in October of 1970. He is a part of the Guerrero wrestling family comprised of several other WWE stars, including the late Eddie Guerrero and Vickie Guerrero. Chavo is currently the only member of the family to regularly compete in the ring; Vickie is a WWE personality but not a wrestler.
Chavo began his wrestling career in Mexico, but it wasn’t long before he was traveling the world. In 1996, he made his debut on WCW, where he was a two time Cruiserweight champion and Tag Team champion. After spending some time there working on his skills, he was officially contracted with the WWE and made his first appearance in 2001. There, he and his uncle Eddie became a tag team called Los Guerreros, performing some amusing bits to lighten up the mood, and eventually winning the tag titles.
Chavo was moved to RAW in 2005, the same year his uncle Eddie passed away. Chavo then began dedicating every match to Eddie’s memory and began using his signature move. This led to a jealousy rivalry between Chavo and Rey Mysterio. Chavo was soon appearing more on Smackdown, where he accidentally injured Mysterio’s leg in a bad enough way that Mysterio was out for several months.
Chavo won a number of titles, including the Cruiserweight, which he eventually lost to Hornswoggle. The two feuded until Mysterio returned and faced Chavo in a match at Summerslam 2007. Following that event, Chavo wasn’t seen on the WWE for the remainder of the year. Once he returned, he came out against the Edge/Vickie Guerrero relationship, but later joined them. He picked up the ECW title with help from Edge, although he lost it to Kane at WresleMania XXIV.
Chavo would then join Los Familia, the stable headed by Edge, but that ended when Edge betrayed the others in August of 2008. Chavo went back to wrestling on his own, competing in several ECW title matches, and getting involved in the Vickie/Undertaker feud. Often beaten by Undertaker, he decided to protect himself by forming an alliance with Big Show, doing pretty much whatever the large man said. Towards the end of the year, he fought Triple H after being referred by him as Vickie’s "errand boy."
As part of the 2009 Supplemental Draft, Chavo was put on RAW where he was involved in the feud between Vickie Guerrero and Santella Marella. As of late, he has been feuding once again with Hornswoggle.
