Brie (Brianna) Bella is one-half the professional wrestling tag team, The Bella Twins.  She and her twin sister Nikki (Nicole) work for the WWE and appear on Smackdown.  The sisters were born Brianna and Nicole Garcia (not Bella) on November 21, 1983.

Brie and her sister got their start in sports playing soccer, but once they hit college, they started focusing on acting, modeling, and other types of promotional work.  In fact, the twins have appeared on the covers of international magazines and on television shows like "Meet My Folks."  Following that show, their stunning looks earned them recognition as Budweiser’s World Cup Twins.  In 2006, they participated in the International Body Doubles Twin Search.

It was only recently that Brie Bella and Nikki joined the WWE.  In 2007, they signed with the group and were placed in the Florida Championship Wrestling brand.  They debuted in September in FCW and immediately participated in several tag team matches against Victoria Crawford and Nattie Neidhart.  The two used their identical twin status as their main gimmick, with one sneaking into the ring to take the place of the injured one. 

On August 29, Brie and Nikki made their Smackdown debut.  Brie defeated Victoria in a match that featured her crawling under the ring and Nikki taking her place.  Smackdown was careful never to show Brie and Nikki at the same time, keeping secret their switching tactic.  But that all changed on November 7 when Brie once again had a match against Victoria.  Towards the end, Victoria and fellow wrestler Natalya attacked Brie, who ducked under the ring to swap places with Nikki.  However, Victoria and Natalya both grabbed for her, with one grabbing Brie and the other grabbing Nikki, thus exposing them as twins.  The Bella twins then went on to become a tag team and are the first set of twins to appear on WWE.

Brie and Nikki soon became involved in a storyline with tag team brothers Carlito and Primo, and another tag team John Morrison and The Miz, with each tag team fighting for their hearts. During this plotline, the twins broke up when one chose Carlito/Primo and the other chose John Morrison/The Miz.  However, they eventually reunited and were traded to RAW. After a brief stay on RAW, they were traded to ECW where they stayed for five months, before being traded back to RAW, where they currently remain.
