The WWE superstar known as Victoria is really named Lisa Marie Varon, and she was born on February 10, 1971.  In addition to working as a professional wrestler, Victoria has also been a female bodybuilder and a fitness competitor.  While she is currently featured on TNA as Tara, Victoria has appeared on Smackdown and Raw.

Victoria was encouraged to become a wrestler after meeting WWE superstar Chyna.  She first trained at Ultimate Pro Wrestling during 2000, and she made a favorable impression on the WWE scouts.  She became one of The Godfather’s hosts on WWE, and on August 7 of 2000, she became known as Victoria and left the Godfather’s group.  She began training at Memphis Championship wrestling and then moved to Ohio Valley Wrestling. 

In July of 2002, Victoria returned to the WWE’s Sunday Night Heat brand.  There, she won the women’s title and began a relationship with Steven Richards and a rivalry with Trish Stratus.  Stratus would retake the women’s title from Victoria at WrestleMania XIX. The feud would featured the steel cage match in WWE history. Following that, Victoria would turn face on Raw.

In 2004, Victoria claimed the women’s title once again.  While she defended the title in several matches and reunited with Steven Richards, the next year would see her turn heel once again after losing a swimsuit competition.  After several years on Raw, Victoria moved to Smackdown in 2007.  There, she paired up with Kenny Dykstra to feud with Torrie Wilson and Jimmy Wang Yang, and she later formed an alliance with Natalya.  On January 13 of 2009, Victoria squared off against Michelle McCool in what was to be the final match of her career.

In May 2009, it was annouced that Victoria had signed with TNA and was made her debut with the compnay under the name Tara. Shortly after he debut she received a TNA Knockouts title shot against Angelina Love but was able to get a rematch against Love and won the title the next week becoming the second female to have held the WWE Womens Championship and TNA Knockouts title (Gail Kim was first). She lost the title back to Love two weeks later and began a feud with Awesome Kong which culminated in a Six Sides of Steel match that Tara won. She won a Knockout Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the TNA Knockouts title in November 2009.
