Wrestling Biography
Chris Lindsey, who is better known as Roderick Strong, was born in 1983 and started training for a career of professional wrestling in 1994 in Tampa, Florida. He was trained under Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and debuted in 2000 in Florida as "The Jester. He wrestled in IPW in Florida and moved over to NWA Florida. He found success in these promotions winning the IPW Tag Team Titles with his "brother "Sedrick Strong" and NWA Junior Heavyweght Championship in NWA Florida. While in NWA Florida, he served as head trainer in their wrestling school.
Strong joined Ring of Honor in 2003 as of Generation Next, a stable with Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Jack Evans. They ran through all the other stables in ROH and Strong was the enforcer of the group. Evans and Strong formed a tag team but couldn't win the ROH Tag Team titles. He challenged CM Punk for the ROH World Heayweight Championship but came up short also. He won the 2005 Survival of the Fittest tournament to earn another shot at the ROH Worl Title but lost this time to Bryan Danielson on two occassions. It was during this time that Strong joined TNA Wrestling but his stay was marred by suspensions and was released in 2006.
In December 2005, Strong and Aries defeated Tony Mamaluke and Sal Rinuaro to win the ROH Tag Team Championship. They held the titles until September 2006 until The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) defeated them. In early 2007, Strong turned on Aries and formed a new faction with Davey Richards call the No Remorse Corps. The NRC feuded with Aries new faction called The Resilience for months resulting in two victories for Aries and none for Strong. Erick Stevens and Strong feuded over the Full Impact Pro Heavyweight Title. They exchanged the titles three times before Stevens ended the feud in a Dog Collar match. Sweet and Sour Inc. has been feuding with Strong ever since Davey Richards turned on Strong and the NRC.
In addition to his ROH work, Strong is a three time Pro Wresting Guerrilla Tag Team champions with Jack Evans and PAC.
