Wrestling Biography

Rob Terry was born in the United Kingdom and started his wrestling career with the WWE. He was signed to a developmental contract and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling and made his debut as Nick Nemeth's (Dolph Ziggler currently) bodyguard Big Rob in November 2007. He accompanied Nemeth to the ring for numerous and wrestled in a few matches before being released from his contract in early 2008.

 

In April 2009, Terrry made his debut in TNA as part of the stable The British Invasion alongside Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams. They attacked Hernandez and took his Feast or Fired briefcase which contained a TNA Heavyweight title shot. They gave the case to Terry. Terry was only used as an enforcer to help get victories for Magnus and Williams and in July the three joined forces with Eric Young, Sheik Abdul Bashir, and Kiyoshi to form The World Elite. This stable teamed up with the Main Event Mafia but this partnership did not last. Whe Hernandez, he won back his briefcase within seconds and it was around this time that Terry would begin costing the team matches with mistakes he made. The entire World Elite would berate him.

 

Terry would continue getting on the bad side of his teamates and this led to Terry winning a Feast or Fired briefcase of his own in late 2009 but him giving the X Division title shot to Doug Williams who ended up winning the title. Terry would his opportunity as he defeated Eric Young for the TNA Global Championship in late January 2010 becoming the first Welshman to hold a title in a mjor wrestlign organization.
