Wrestling Biography
Kenny King was born Kenny Layne and one of the contestants on WWE's reality show Tough Enough 2 in 2002. He was one of the four finalists but did not win as Jackie Gayda and Linda Miles were the winners. After Tought Enough, Layne began to wrestle on the independent circuit in Nevada and Florida. He was trapped by former World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Scott Casey at the Las Vegas Wrestling Academy. He wrestled in Ultimate Pro Wrestling and defeated Mike Mizanin who is currently The Miz in the WWE. Throughout 2003 and 2004, he wrestled in different promotions in California.
He wrestled in TNA Wrestling for a few months as Kenny King mainly used in squash matches to put over other higher profile wrestlers. In August 2006, he was released from TNA. H worked for Full Impact Pro wrestling and in April 2007, he joined Ring of Honor on a full time basis with his most recent feud being with Kenny Ortega.
